His final sentence of the statement was just as mystifying. I quote “We can and should work together to address those issues, get past this and move on for the benefit of farmers, growers, the wider supply chain and, crucially, consumers.”
No no no. He is payed to represent farmers and growers...
I’m sick of hearing about this heat wave. When are we going to get some sun here on the coast near Whitby. Photo was taken about 5pm yesterday (wed) whilst it was blazing sunshine a couple miles away inland.
After a couple of years with the 135 and bogie I got some Russians for the back and some terratyres for the front of the MF698 and it took over. Then moved onto the 699.
No thanks, but those cabs definitely want preserving and putting on suitable tractors. After a hard life we restored our 135 about 20 years ago. We returned it back to how it was in its early years with flat top mud guards and alloy grab handles. No cab. Nicely mellowed now and used for odd jobs...
I’m really enjoying this thread. It has inspired me to dig out some of my old photos of my attempts to travel better on soft ground. The first two photos are the very wet autumn of 1987 and to get the wheat sown we resorted to putting dual wheels on the scraper tractor and broadcasting the seed...
Are the latest Isuzus any better than earlier models for constant regens and filling their sumps with diesel? I quite fancy an Extra Cab with auto, which is now available, but tales of diesel in sumps etc put me off. I do mainly pottering around the locality with occasionl longer trips and...
I can’t understand why, on modern pickups, they have done away with the 4wd/hi-lo lever and replaced it with electric switches. The lever worked perfectly well. Trying to get into low range on my current pickup is a right palaver.
Once it’s finally in low range it’s a right carry on getting it...
No no no. You have all got it wrong. According to that ‘Tractor World’ program on the telly, the unit of measurement for weight is an elephant and a unit of area is a Wembley Stadium.
I had my Red Tractor inspection 2 weeks ago. The inspector said I didn’t need a Health and Safety Policy because I’m a one man band. How’s that for consistency?
I received my annual demand for money from the protection racket today. Looks like we need a time machine. It’s a bit rich them having such power over businesses when they can’t even sort out their own admin.
I think the Simtech is a great drill and can’t understand why there aren’t more about. Very versatile, and as they say in their sales blurb, will sow any seed into any surface. Hard, dry land is not a problem, they pull them selves in very well. They are heavier than they look, needing a decent...
I’ve recently realised who you are. I’m another Yorkshire Yokel with lightened pockets. I bought that 4m Taarup topper off you in April. Very pleased with it I am to.
