We had the same issues with a Masterclip set. They replaced the batteries but the replacements didn't even last as long as the originals. Chucked it and bought a 'Blade' which takes Makita batteries. Far better.

100% this. I had two batteries replaced under warranty from master clip but they were still useless - tabs broke off and wouldn't charge. Get genuine Makita batteries not knock off ebay copies 1 charge lasts 20 times longer.

Hope the guy that slapped the jumping bull on the nose doesn't get the Sarah Moulds treatment.
