Hypertherm powermax 125. Its set at 100 amps there. Going a tad slow there as the sparks are supposed to blow backwards at a 15° angle for optimum cut speed apparently.
Made a track for the plasma cutter, mainly for cutting thicker sections. I have a motor and speed controller on the way, but the drill will do in the meantime. Nice finish despite the poor speed regulation with the drill. Thats 25mm plate.
Ploughing away here the last 2 hours. Going very well, no hunting between ranges at all. I have revs set to 1400 to 1500 and 85% droop. Transmission on middle aggressiveness. Running about 40% engine load at that.
I'm going ploughing tomorrow, after about 4 months of rain!!! It will be the first field work I'll have done with the tractor, and I was wondering what engine/transmission settings to use, such as engine revs/droop, transmission aggressiveness etc. I have the 3 point linkage and spools set...
Photo shows one of the led lights fitted, I'm sure I don't need to say which one it is!!!
Also got plastic boots for the Deutsch connector. It looks really neat I think.
Thanks so much @Drillman !!!
The part no. is exactly what I needed. My local parts man is an absolute gentleman, but I don't think he has had to get very many manuals before. This will ensure I get the right one this time!!
Thanks again!!!!
Just a quick question. The tractor didn't come with an operators manual, so I ordered one 6 weeks ago from my local dealer. It only arrived 2 days ago, apparently they only print them as needed. Anyway, I think it is not the correct version. I have only gone through about 70 pages or so, but the...
These just arrived! It will be a little while before I get a chance to fit them, but first impressions are good. There is a nice weight to them, and they just feel better quality than the average led light in the local autofactors.
Thanks, I have the proper Deutsche crimper and loads of connectors so that should be handy enough. Just walking around the tractor, I noticed that the wires to the lights above the mudguards are just about long enough!!!
Thank you everyone, I'm going to order up the lights today!!! I had actually looked through the UTV website before, but I had become a little frustrated with it. Maybe it's just the phone, but I couldn't really find what I wanted.
The light from the front isn't actually too bad, but the rear is...
Sorry if this has already been covered. Looking to upgrade the Halogen worklights on the T7.235 here. She's tier4a, so has the oval lights. I would prefer to keep the look as original as possible, whilst gaining a decent bit more light. Has anyone got any suggestions? Some of the lights are...
Thanks very much guys, looking forward to getting her home at the weekend!!!! It will be kept company by a 300hp 8870 that has been practically faultless for 10k hours, so she has big boots to fill!!!!
I must give Russels a call tomorrow @BigBarl . Their linkage comes with the option of...
It took long enough, but we have eventually bought a tractor. Haven't even collected it yet!! It's a 2015 T7.235 autocommand. It's on smaller tyres than I would have liked ( 580's) and does not have a front linkage, but the condition and low hours ( 3350, checked with a dealers laptop) swung it...
The valve arrived here this morning!!!! Apparently it would have been here weeks ago, but there was some sort of mix up and it wasn't sent when it was supposed to. I'm very happy it's here now, looks very well made.
Marek got back to me this morning straight away after I PM'ed him. Sent me an invoice within the hour and I paid him right away. Marek said he has loads of valves on the shelf ready to ship, so hopefully I won't have to wait too long for it to come!!!
That's what I was thinking, but wondered would it be possible with a herringbone type gear? As in, to slide it in and out to engage and disengage the teeth? I thought that I might have to use a spur gear.
