I found they eat the top of the bale and cant get the hard centre or the bottom of the bale as its wedged against the ring, so now I don't tip them over and leave them sitting on the round. they eat them much better.

Can Stealing Ever Be Justified ?

The threat of consequences used to be enough of a deterrent for most, however now there doesn't seem to be any consequences. My brother manages a supermarket and they used to challenge shop lifters and call the police. Now the police aren't interested and don't show up. The staff have been told...

    Electricity tariffs/Prices

Currently with SSE. 11,000kwh usage renewal is looking at S/C £1.66/day and 29.096/unit. (1 year) I have had a quote from YU energy at S/C £1.29/day 24.51/unit (3 years). Seems a good quote, anyone used YU energy? never heard of them before, the reviews seem terrible, but so are all the other...

Establishing Market Value of a pick up

2 years ago my son ran into the back of someone with his car and it was written off, grudgingly we accepted an offer for his car some £800 less than he paid for it 3 months previous. This week out of the blue a letter appeared from the insurance (Direct line), saying sorry we undervalued your...

    NH 648 baler slack belts

The spool just closes the door, its an independent closed hydraulic system/spring on the baler that pressurises the belts, so not really possible to operate when using it. Finished baling 150 bales of hay tonight with it, which works fine as it leaves the centre of the bales soft, but have some...

    NH 648 baler slack belts

I am having trouble with my 648 baler. Once you have ejected a bale and closed the door the belts are slightly slack and wont turn. once you feed some crop in, the pressure comes on and they turn, and it works properly. The pressure ram on the right hand side does not seem to close properly, but...
