Can you get liquid fert, like N37 in an IBC?
I only need 3000 litres to do some headlands and have no tank.
I appreciate it will be more expensive, but do any of the big boys supply in ibcs.
I want to buy some spare seed my neighbour has, its bought in seed from Frontier, still sealed.
Can we legally do this? I know you cannot trade FSS, but this is bought in seed.
I'm very out of touch with spray contractor charges, last time I had some done it was £4/acre imagine far more now.

Some sickish looking wheat had late Hatra/Atlantis, is there any recommended nutrient mix to try and perk it up and get it looking greener?
Asking for a friend ;)
Does any small engineering firm make a 3m basic tine direct drill, I'm looking at making a 3m tine drill with metcalfe legs/tines, 250mm spacing, 11 legs in total, following harrow with hopper and accord type metering.
Something similar to what @Wombat built, probably based on 80mm box frame.
Got a small building/yard 370m2
Partially sunk in the ground (old limestone quarry) stone walls on three sides, concrete block the other.
Has several covered bays, one is a small workshop, 3 phase power, there is Gigabit fibre connection, BT line and mains water within 20m.
4 Other bays open...
Drilling WW now, variable conditions with soil sticking at times to tyres and drill.
I'm inclined to leave rolling till the spring, fearing in places it will cap and smear, yet most around me are rolling thoughts please.
I've been approached to see if I will sell a 0.75 acre bit of land, its adjacent to a trunk road with access gate straight off trunk road onto it. There is a concrete pad where a former building stood, there is electric, water, fibre broadband and telephone in the adjacent highway verge.
No...
A bit of a dilemma, a parcel of our land benefits from an easement, of a right of way, recorded on both parties deeds.
We haven't used it since we bought the land in the 1960s, as we own the adjoining land either side.
However this means we burden our neighbouring land and it's further to...
What's your longest haul carting grain from field back to the farm store.
Asking as this year I've a 40 minute each way trip from the combine to store for a couple of fields.
Thinking of changing accountants, current yearly cost is £3.5k+Vat.
One farming business, all accounts done by us on Xero, we do our own Vat returns on Xero with the accountant doing year end accounts, and submitting partnership and two partners self assessment returns. Advice if needed is on...
If I want to blank off the EGR how do I do it?
Blank it off with a plate where the exhaust gases enter the EGR cooler from the exhaust manifold?
Does it need blanking off anywhere else?
Could I remove the whole lot and blank off the exhaust manifold and remove the EGR cooler and blank off the...
After some real world examples, I've read all the online guides of £1k basic- £2k high, skys the limit etc...
Single storey 4.8m x 9m so 43.2sq. metres, conventional apex roof. Block working cavity walls with exterior brick.

Going to put a small seeder on the back of my Horsch Terrano for stewardship mixes, which is the best, will be seeding, wild flowers, grasses, legume, wild bird seed mixes etc.
Narrowed it down to Stocks, APV, Opico, Bullock Tillage.
Want a 200 litre hopper, electric fan, electric metering...
So what's the best way to drill stewardship mixes, cover crops, wild flower grass mixes etc.
I'm leaning towards a small air seeder like a Stocks Turbo Jet to mount on the back of a cultivator, dropping the seed in front of the packer roller.
But wondering if a basic Air drill will do the job...
What's the best drill for establishing typical stewardship mixes such as AB9, AB15 etc...
Is a conventional cereal drill based on an Accord metering system with suffolk coulters the best as most only want drilling quite shallow?
Or is small micro seeder on a cultivator a good option.
Do most...
Got 3.5t of Wheat seed left and only a 7ha field I have any chance of travelling on this week.
Its over wintered seed so germination and vigour perhaps a bit down, no harm in 500kg/ha given the likely poor germination/establishment etc?
Is there any reason, thinking BPS, that you cannot leave ploughing over winter?
I would like to plough this week, leave to weather over winter and establish in April.
