First time using liquid fert today (Hardi quintastream nozzles grey) and the rate is much lower than it should be. I left the top hat nozzle filters in place should I remove them?
First time using liquid fert today, I have fitted Hardi quintastream nozzles (grey) but the rate is much lower than it should be. I left the top hat nozzle filters in place should I remove them?
I'm shopping around for a secondhand muck spreader and have seen a couple of these machines with horizontal beaters then a hood behind and spinning discs/vanes below they seem to be used for chicken manure but can you use them successfully with FYM ??
So, bare with me backward thinking here, if there were scenes of farmers demonstrating outside Tesco, Asda etc. With tractors and placards saying don't buy Red Tractor how many minutes would it take Tesco, Asda etc to dump RT and the scheme fold in on itself?😂
Hey Kiwi, The lads done alright, I bought him a £100 mot failure (renault clio) for christmas when he was 16 he (with a bit of guidance) did it up and sold it then used the proceeds to buy an audi a3 with a blown gearbox which again he fixed and that is what he drives now but hes working full...
So my 18yr old son is doing my head in about getting a pick up truck.. Fine; but we can't find insurance for love nor money! NFU wouldn't quote, the closest we got was the Direct Line who quoted £5000 for 12 months cover and then the lady on the phone had the audacity to ask "would you like to...

Anyone tried a twin tine kit???
I'm struggling with my Claydon to get it to bury the seed and not block up at the same time! It runs fine and the soil flows through the leading tines and the seed Coulters. But the final row of ' boards' as I call them just don't fill in the troughs made by the Coulters and when you increase...
Can't come soon enough, how many farmers and their children have been killed by defective equipment that is 30 odd years old but they can't afford to update or replace.! They should start with an MOT for anything self propelled, rather than licences.
If you don't agree just think about which...
If your worried about food security surely coupled payments are best for increasing production?
Is this a 'look over there!' press release making coupled payments look a better option than 'unfair' uncoupled area payments??
Just being cynical!
