    Wiberg springtine parts

We run a Wiberg, brilliant tool but other than wearing metal good luck in your hunting. Could never find anything on the internet to do with Wiberg let alone spare parts! We have a late red one which has Gregroire Besson stickers on it but there’s nothing on their website and dealers just look...

In really wet conditions I use manual draft control which works quite well!😉

    Draft control and ploughing.

When we had our first JD a 6600 and 5 furrow Dowdeswell DP100 we were advised by the dealer to always use the slotted hole Plough end because the tractor had lower link sensing, If I remember rightly he mentioned that they had had the odd top link break if you didn't because it didn't allow the...

    Draft control and ploughing.

Always thought Draft control was to keep a constant load on the tractor! If your field was say sand from one end to the other and dead flat you probably wouldn’t need it on but if like round here it varies so much if you have it full on it dives in on the sand and tries to lift out on the clay...

    Draft control and ploughing.

JD 6155M 5 furrow KV plough top bar tractor end - middle hole plough end - slotted hole draft - middle setting if you have draft setting too high here the plough would be out of the ground most of the time.

    Bomford B608 hedge cutter

Yes not bad for a 1999 machine. Must admit that it has had a bit of welding but the breakback is pretty non existent, more of a bendback than breakback!

    Bomford B608 hedge cutter

Got a B508 with levers, has been a good trimmer, only downsides are the levers and no power slew. Mine doesn’t have independent hydraulics either, but works well enough. Could be wrong but a 608 looks identical to a 508 apart from a longer arm which may not be so good down very narrow lanes! As...

    Kerb on beans anyone?

As the title, we’ve been advised that we can use Kerb on winter beans as long as there’s no frost looming and they have 2 leaves or more! Anyone done it or planning to do it? Did it work?
