    Ford 7840 Error E18 & E20

    Trouble with my 7840, It will drive when started for maybe 5 seconds with E18 code on the dash (cant change powershift gears) then E20 comes up & it stops all drive, until I turn the ignition off & on then it will drive again for 5 seconds.. repeat. Any ideas as to what E20 is? I cant find any...

    8240 error code E18

    I have an 8240 SLE 1992 that shows an E18 code. Checked all the wiring with no shorts from the transmission plug to the computer. C1/C2 solenoid at 7 ohms. Power 12 volts at the 58 pin on the ETC plug. All checks in the new holland manual point to a bad ETC. At the same time the E18 code...
