Hello all, considering going down the Jimny route for farm use.
Looking for options on low ground pressure tyres and wheels.
Only a small farm so not worried about road handling.
Can't really find much myself other than the offerings from KAP, haven't reached out to enquire about price yet...
Just hired a 1000cc Diesel Polaris Ranger and its used just 15 litres of diesel covering 80 ha of land at 12 metres. Should have recorded hours but i'd guess 8 hours actual work. Seems extremely frugal?
What are other people recording, was hoping to get a lively petrol UTV for our own longer...
Ranger does not sell CCTV, but are you thinking of buying some?
Make sure the system informs you of a concern immediately.
If you are not notified straight away, then it is just as good as a sleeping security guard (we don't sell them either!)
And make sure you have a plan prepared if you...

National Rural Crime Action Week, which is underway this week (September 18-22), is a timely reminder that farmers need greater protection from rural crime, the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) has said.
In that vein the union is reiterating its call for...
On a slightly different vein to the recent "what trailer" thread, we're well catered for with two larger livestock trailers, but increasingly I think that a smaller (7ft ish) single axle would be pretty handy a lot of the time.
Could be used behind the quad occasionally for about the place, but...
When I pressed the black button on the control box when the needle gets to the Red, the needles trip and twine starts. Needles start to come across but only part way then retripps. I dump out the bale, cut the strings manually, go back into the tractor and press black button again now will go...
Evening All,
Back in 2001 I won a Honda Foreman 450ES in a competition with Profi magazine.
I never had one before and didn’t really have much use for one, but still nice to win something!
Anyhow it’s done 216 hours in those 22 years and i’m Wondering whether to sell it out of the way.
I...
Sort of promised myself a digger for my 60th birthday. Thinking 6 ton 360 ideally would be wheels but most are on tracks, so it will be tracks.
I take it the driver needs a certificate of comptence & insurance, anything else.
I'm approaching 59 but the right machine is available locally, I...
My ATV was stolen last night.
2016 green Honda 4x

Hi
We have an acre of vineyard at our field and another large garden-sized area we like to keep short for spending time with friends....we are amateurs with little knowledge of ground maintenance or machinery. The grass grows extremely fast, and we are looking for something that:

Had various utv s for the last 19 years currently
got a three years old diesel polaris ranger with kubota engine.
I do like it and it has to work hard in harsh conditions but I recon it's cost me £2500 in repairs plus servicing plus deprecation in the last 12 months
Any alternatives
