I’ve looked at LG2 that I presume will cover our mowing ground ( I can max that as 41 acres or 16.5 hectares) that I presume is 16.5 x £151 = £2491.50
We only have 174 acres in total and to take edges or strips out of production etc is not viable

Spring calving herd, grass from early feb to mid november. My dairy nut is very expensive.
We are in a drought prone area in east of Ireland, feed 350-500kg of dairy nut and same of PK.
Im hoping to swap dairy nut for rolled barley or maize meal. Feed acid buffer and minerals with PK at feed...
The budget for SFI is the same as when SPS first started. It was about £100/ acre then, which would be worth about £55/ acre now. So if everybody that claimed BPS, claimed SFI on the same area as before, and on similar value options, that is what we would all get paid. This would probably not...
Top questions from people considering SFI
Who can apply for SFI and when can they apply?
At the moment, we’re only allowing BPS eligible farmers to apply for an SFI agreement. This is because their details are already registered with the RPA. In future, we’ll allow a wider range of farmers to...

Hope people can help me out, I have a small flock of sheep and I’m looking to grow them next year. To do that I will need to rent ground, how much should I be expecting to pay per acre per month? If that is even how it’s split. Cheers!
