Autoquad 6155r john deere. Seems to loose drive to the wheels when the pto is engaged. It’s a bit intermittent but seems to be fine when the pto is not engaged. It was on a set of tripple mowers when the problem began. Drove to the field fine, then once mowers were down and running, wouldn’t set...
Possibly have chance of putting some digestate on some much poorer land we have. Heard from lots of people that's it's rocket fuel and then some horror stories. My main question is what will/might it do to poorer land?
The land is mostly permanent pastures with 20ac of meadows that have been...
Hunniford Farms out spreading slurry with the New Holland T7.270 Blue Power on the 12m Slurry kat Dribble bar, and the trio of Slurrykat tankers carting with New Holland T7s on the front. Tho how impressive does that Tri Axle tanker look!! You would think days like this would be a summer's day...
Squeak in the @JohnDeere 6150R on the @SlurryKatEngineering 12m dribble bar spreading digestate onto grass for the coming season. This is one of the 3 outfits from Lyons Contracts at the slurry and videos of the other two setups to follow shortly. Carting with 4 tankers to the nurse tank squeak...
Hi All,
Currently looking at buying a new slurry 2000g tanker and trailing shoe system. So far, Belmac are pricing considerably cheaper than the competitors. Just curious to find out peoples opinion on the brand and their experience in terms of performance/quality.
Any feedback appreciated.
We are in the market for a new slurry tanker, we have priced up a few makes and wondering if anyone has any experience of grass technology, looking at 3500 gall with turbo fill and dribble bar, looking at twin axle on 750 tyres
David is out with the John Deere 6155R spreading slurry on an outlying farm with the 12m Agquip dribble bar. Jamison Farms as from my previous videos has mostly been all potato work but they are also a dairy farm growing cereals as well. Back on the pump is another John Deere 6155R on the DODA...
Hi everyone. I didn’t want to hijack the today at work thread. Could some one explain how you pull a pipe without getting getting in a mucky mess. I see on a few farms I visit that they are spread on a diagonal, this must create a lot of extra turning. Forgive my ignorance, I’m just a bit simple...
Johnny in the @CaseIHUKROI Puma 175 CVX spreading slurry with the Agquip dribble bar. This is one of the Slurry systems from TJ Montgomery using the DCI arm. Carting to the field was a mix of Case IH & John Deere on the Redrock tankers. Wheels on the Case Puma 175 CVX is 900s & 710s...
Hi all,
We have a 12m slurry quip dribble bar and the pipes are kinking when it's folding up. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have some suggestions to stop it happening.
Thanks
I am looking at liquid fertiliser nozzles for a Bateman and wondered if anyone had had experience of bfs 5 star plus variable rate nozzles. Has anyone had trouble with scorch using them?
A friend of mine runs a Bateman SP sprayer. I think it’s an RB16. He’s had a couple of cases of glyphosate contamination when spraying cereals, it resulted in crop damage. He would be thorough enough in terms of washout although he has never used the clean water tank.
The sprayer would be 10-15...
Given new slurry regs we are looking at options for the future, one being moving the cows housing and going loose housed to start, with a view to cubicles down the line if we manage to milk a few more. Have a good shed, easily big enough, think it would cost 5-7k for concrete and improving...
