Cereal drill for very stony land these days.
When farming( tenant farmer),a lot of the farms soil was very stony as per pictures attached. Strangely enough I think the Amazone combi drill with Suffolk coulters straight behind the plough press gave us the most even seeding compared to other drills we had, had. Just wondering what drill you... -
What determines when grass runs to head?
I should really know the in depth answer to this but don’t so looking to the experts. I know stress has a factor as well as time but with a slow spring do we get a later heading date?- Headless chicken

Hp vs fuel use
Bit of a silly question but basically would a 6 cylinder 150 hp tractor use 50% more diesel than a 100 hp 4 cylinder both doing the same work say a 3m power harrow in same conditions. Roughly same age of tractor’s. -

How much isn’t getting planted
Another soaking yesterday and not looking like any planting in the next two weeks with 170 acres unplanted which might not get done , how much is left to do , I recon most people around here are 1/2 to 3/4 planted at best.- Surgery

urea spreading date cut off fast approaching
