What's everyone's policy on allocating freeze branding number to a heifer?
Do you just put the last 4 digits of eartag or another policy.
We have in the past just reused numbers from cows sold which keeps the numbers compact between 0 - 450
I work on a family farm, probably not milking enough cows for the amount of staff we've got, but now the winters here It's a struggle to fill the days with work. Usually jobbed up by lunchtime then it's a few hours until pm milking.
