Does anyone have experience with Ceres Striker 295 post driver?

How well are they made? I found them online but have not seen them in the flesh. I'd be looking at a basic telehandler mounted machine with rock spike and side tilt. I'm also looking at Protech 220+ with heavier weight and manual tilt. Any thoughts?

    Beef and sheep laneway sizes

Hi all, I'm in the process of fencing fields, previously just arable, and there are rough tracks between them. How wide would people fence the tracks? What factors do I need to consider? Metal Fencing now eligible in FG1 & FG2 schemes

Interesting to see that metal fencing is now an eligible fencing material in the stewardship schemes. Recycled plastic fence posts aren't currently eligible but we hope that they will be in the future. We consider the recycled plastic posts as a credible option and ideal in ground that is...

Half box strainer / H brace thoughts

I've seen half box strainers used in deer fencing for places where a full box wasn't necessary. Do they have a place in sheep and beef fencing? Or does it just make sense to put a full box strainer in every time or put a strut in instead?

What's a good way to place 4" posts?

We have a 9 acre smallholding with electric fencing strung around on (mostly) 4" round posts. I thus have an ongoing need to replace these, probably one or two a month. Up until now I've used a manual post knocker but I'm getting older and when the ground is hard it's very hard work. So I'm...
