    Revystar Experience

We have used Revystar on Spring Barley at "paint brush" for ramularia and it is disappointing. We used Adexar type (old stock) as a T2 on wheat and I thought we had too much septoria. My independent agronomist brought some plants from a neighbour who had used Revystar (same variety) and it was...

    Late application of folpet

I have some spring barley that is just gone past GS59 and has not gotten its T2 due to unforeseen circumstances. I want to include a multisite and now folpet is the only option and I see it says apply before GS59, I could leave it out but just wondering does anyone have any bad expeirence of...

    Winter wheat T1 2021

Ok, what are your plans for T1? Back in April when it was looking like another drought I was thinking keep it cheap! However we’ve now had A LOT of rain and 90% of the wheats are looking like they have some good potential. So, my and my agronomist thoughts are to go with a more robust T1 His...

Don't drop guard against yellow rust and Septoria

Don't drop guard against yellow rust and Septoria Recent cold, dry weather may have reduced the immediate disease pressure in cereal crops, but growers cannot drop their guard against yellow rust and Septoria at the main spring fungicide timings, leading agronomy firm Hutchinsons warns...

If CTL was introduced as a new product now..

What would you be prepared to pay for it? And do you think it would be considered as valuable as the newest SDHI?

    Planet Spring barley fungicide

Have used 0.5l/ha Jaunt (Fluoxastrobin(75g/l) Prothioconazole(150g/l) Trifloxystrobin(75g/l)) the last couple of years with good results( have both been very dry springs with low levels of disease). With the loss of CTL what are people using this year?

    T1

Ours we be there end of next week I expect, especially when in warms up. No T0 and no disease about here. What are people thinking? SDHI? Anything will be partnered with Folpet.

    Bio-fungicides at T0

Been recommended the use of iodus (Laminarin active) at T0 for septoria protection based in south west so high disease pressure. Are many others planning on using these bio-fungicides at T0 to replace CTL, with folpet not looking like a cost effective choice. Dont see these bio-fungicides...

    T0

Know it's miles early. What's he collectives thoughts now CTL has passed on. Is Iodus (Laminarin?) any use on Septoria and Mildew (plenty of peatground) or is it a case of Folpet with fingers firmly crossed? In the West so Septoria is the main target.

Autumn Guide - Learning Lessons from the Past

THE IMPORTANCE OF MULTI-SITES History clearly tells us that single-site fungicides used without the addition of a multi-site can quickly succumb to resistance evolution. Alternative multi-sites such as folpet can be used to manage resistance and extend the life of existing chemistry. THE...
