    Is this normal for wheat?

We grew a small area of Insitor this year and it appears to have done ok. My only question is there are a lot of small caramel coloured grains in the sample. What causes this? It was grown next to Barrell and it’s all normal.

Tenant farming costs, complete newbie basic questions

Apologies for asking VERY basic questions and I am reading at the same time but could I get an idea of what it may cost for farmland in Lancashire for grazing. The Juggle Between Protein, Yield & Straw

So, just got the tests back to find my gleam wheat protein in the 13s. Not a bad thing, but also in a season of high yields and lots of straw, I was wondering how folk go about managing their N input timings to adjust this? Ideally, I'd take rather that nitrogen made grain rather than protein...
