Does direct drilling really effect deep down soil structure??

I ask the above as I drive by some fields that have been direct drilled from 2012 autumn, and I have to say that this spring those fields look to be as waterlogged as much as they were pre 2012. No mention of the supermarket dominated food system. Have any TFF members eaten Wagyu Beef?

If you have eaten Wagyu beef , did you think was better than any other beef you have eaten. I ask the above as I have just read about it being “supposedly” very tender BUT also very expensive. That said I do like a nice steak as a special treat, so the Wagyu sounds tempting.
