Hi all
We have a set of Krone B1000 CV mowers, the PTO guards which drive the rear beds are worn out, the bellows have split. We were told you can't buy the bellow part separately. New Walterscheid guards are £750 each! I think this is disgraceful. Does anyone know of an alternative?
Managed to bend the rotor on our old haybob 420
Has anyone ever straightened one ?
heat and big hammer ?
I know we should have shiny new kit but for what we mow and on steep uneven ground the 420 does a decent job
Is it possible to load bale trailers with small, conventional bales without having anyone on the trailer? Even with flat 8's I've always been on a trailer to fully load it. Anyone managed to do it? Do you need a specific size of trailer?
Does anyone know if you can turn blades upside down to use other side of blade. Somebody told you can and another said you can’t as they won’t cut at the low enough due to shape of blade

Local man keeps losing discs on his krone. It’s not a system I’m familiar with and not been to look yet. I suspect he’s not fitting something correctly.
Can someone talk me through how you put them on please

Cutting silage by a self-propelled harvester is now such a standard feature of the season that most of the drivers working alongside them will have been born well after they appeared on the scene during the 1980s and 90s.
Dragging a harvester along...

I know it's very early still, but looks like my neighbour is making a bit of hay on a small field that he lets people camp on.
Couple of others seem to be underway with haylage.
I've just been and mowed 8 acres that is going to be haylage for a chap this evening.
It will be at least 10...
