Running 600 ewes on 550ac all over the place without a tractor. Is it time to take the plunge and invest in a tractor? Hay/ haylage taken out in the pick up and trailer handball into feeders. Fodder beet fed by hand about a ton a day at the moment. Mucking out of lambing shed by hand. Able to...
I know nothing about them having been all liquid fert forever. However, I'm now looking at a bit pile of urea bags. I do have a spreader, but it's very old, and partially doesn't work (won't register a speed reading so can't use the box).
Anyway, a new one is probably out of the question, but...
Just looking to swap our 6m harrow for an 8m. Kuhn, Maschio and Alpego are the options. Does anyone run one or have any experience of them? Just after some users views, they all have their differences. We’ve a;ways had Kuhn but they are 28 rotors compared to 32. Kuhn has the clod board on the...

Having trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground when I lift plough. Got a stone fork on front with 3 sets weights hanging off it and on steep bits at ends the front wheels are still wanting to lift. It's fine in flat fields.

Pozdrav svima, nova sam na ovom forumu. Imam Rauch difuzor s Quatron A terminalom. Zanima me može li Rauch Quatron A primati NMEA podatke o brzini traktora. Upravo smo instalirali Singularxyz sagro200 autosteer sustav u naš traktor. Njegova antena ima rs232 kabel za pružanje NMEA podataka...

As per the thread title really. We are looking to potentially change our plough and these seem to be incredibly good value. We are not doing a huge acreage as we mainly mintill. We have good forgiving soil but plenty of slopes as we are in Cornwall.
Many thanks.
Matt

Can anyone shed some light on how good a kverneland 863 would be on a small suckler farm feeding round bale silage and spreading straw bales for bedding currently use a Kuhn primor 3560 but she's getting a bit long in the tooth now so thinking of swapping for a different make as not keen on the...
Having a bit of difficulty getting the Kuhn 40.1 to get a speed signal, can anyone help?
I have a trimble 500 and a patchwork advance which I took out of our old tractor. The kuhn was able to get a speed signal from the Blackbox, but the trimble is more accurate so trying to use the trimble 500...
Following on from a thread about mole ploughing, how many of you plough with draft control turned off?
I’ve always ploughed with it off, not wanting to jack the plough out a bit through a tough patch just for a bit of extra grip, having a tractor properly ballasted and on top of the job.
