loader tractor

Looking at some new rear tyres for my main workhorse, has anyone got any experience with BKT’s? They are a lot cheaper than others so makes me question if they are a good! Any feedback appreciated. 🍻

Currently running a 14 plate T6.165 Newholland (6000hrs) loader tractor, I have been offered a W Reg Case MX135 (8500hrs) when i was buying another MX110, I'm tempted to swap the T6 for the 135 and put a loader on the 110. Im unsure if its insane to change an 8 year old tractor for a 22 year...

Any recommendations for second hand 4wd tractors which aren’t overly costly and are reliable. Something in the 95-130hp range around 20ish years old?

We have a handler which is a complete pain for pressurising it self so it makes a meal out of hooking and removing hydraulic attachments like shear grab. Is it possible to add a valve, to de presurerise the two couplings. I'm sure the old matbro had something on them.?

I’m thinking of trading up my Valtra t254 with 4200 hrs on it , I’m curious to know what is it costing to change differant brands of this hp up to new . I know new tractors have gone up a lot but so too have secondhand . So what are lads paying to change up recently.

Have a 12 year old 150ph tractor, owned from new, decent basic machine. Considering changing but would probably only get 25/30k trade in, if I put in another 40 then might get something 3yrs old, 3k hrs? or spend the 40k on a second tractor, 10ish yrs old 6k hrs - maybe. Only me so can...

Do you actually use: drone scanning technology, 3D mapping, temperature and moisture sensors, farming data, or any of the "modern sophisticated farming equipment" that engineering blog posts talk about. I'd love to hear whether this stuff is actually used or just bull-crap.

So Fendts are 230K How about basic 80 hp tractor with loader to suit smaller farms, hill operations, livestock etc I'm guessing every day brands such as Case, NH & MF £1,000 per hp with the loader thrown in? I could afford one, but hanging on till things settle down.

I know this has been asked before but havent seen anyone mention a west side spreader, obviously wont be the prettiest of spread but is it worth it just for a few acres? i can get lime delivered fine but its not worth getting a contractor out to spread it. cheers

Is anybody using these ranges or previous ranges? How do you find them and how are they in a yard with a loader on? TIA James

With a bit of patience and engineering/repair interest surely they are a good tool for the job especially on smaller amounts ? Ive never used one mind, not years ago or now never ,know nothing about them.....at all..... just thinking ...:unsure: could you smell something burning :ROFLMAO::cautious:

Hi Could anybody suggest whether a Case 4230 with a 40-70 Chilton loader would be able to lift a 1.3 ton mower from a flat bed trailer - or if it is likely to struggle / break something? Thanks for any advice
