I have just had to buy a pack of Adapt a Ball to repair one of my feeders and have another one to do.... But teh black plastic tubes are fine, it is just the plastic balls that have gone. Has anyone found a source of balls please?
I looked at little footballs a few years ago, but they were too...
Hi all,
Just wondering what people thoughts are on a 155m compared to 145r.
We are a dairy farm with all our fields on back roads so no need for 50k. I'm leaning towards the 155m so any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
So I’ve been looking for a new small loader tractor and came across some 4230’s and 4240’s that appear to tick the boxes, but while doing a bit of research it seems a compatible sized 5120 or 5130 are better thought of.
The tractor is to be used mainly as a yard tractor, loader work, hay and...
Hello
Does anyone else have issues working out where the back of the trailer is while being loaded on the move?
It’s being towed on New Holland T7.210 - a higher cab would clearly make a difference but wondering if anyone finds the same and if anyone has tips or added something to help?
Hiyah - can any of you wonderful farmers tell me how much hay I will need to get in and store for 6 sheep in readiness for winter please?
Thank you for all advice!
Hello, I wondered if many people had problems stacking mini hestons , 4 string 8’ bales of straw, we have a twin bale spike for picking 2 round bales up , when you pick up a mini heston with it , it always bad to get the tines out of the bale , it keeps pulling the bale back when you try to...
This is a thread for those who feel guilty about cluttering up dear old GUTH’s beloved price tracker with the chit chat that stop us all being that miserable our families would throw us all out to sit with the dog in the porch. All are welcome, you can even post prices if you want. The only rule...
sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but anyone got any insurance companies they can recommend please?

I have a few round bales to feed this year and normally feed small squares in hay racks (lid and wheels) so looking at the different round bale feeders out there.
The sheep have horns heading in all directions so am concerned a standard sheep round feeder won't be suitable, so I wondered if a...

Was wondering how much discount you might expect on a 240hp demonstrator tractor over brand new? Been quoted, and the difference isn’t as much as I had thought/ hoped!
I am hoping to get into shearing next year and was looking at making a shearing stand I have been looking online and seen a few for sale but none say what the dimensions are.
I was wondering what exactly is the best size for stand platform.
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I’m struggling to get the clutch bled on my 6160. After some cold weather the clutch wouldn’t work and there was no clutch pedal feel. Am getting fluid up to the master cylinder, but assume there is air in the system somewhere.
Does the 6100 series have...

What's reliable and easy started, it's just to use to feed with in the summer so that the loader tractor isn't tied up and can go to other jobs easier. I know old matbro teleram 3 are old but would they still do a turn or better going never and paying finance on a jcb 310 or similar
As above all my forbears were farmers and so am i but my kids have chosen a different path . Absolutely nothing wrong with that but just thinking how easily the farming knowledge that gets past down over the years gets lost in the space of one generation , makes you think doesn't it ?
