We are currently building new cubicle housing for 100 cows and are at a crossroads with regards to scraping out.
My dad wants to install a lely/jos slurry collector
I would prefer to install Storth rope scrapers
My brother would prefer to scrape the building out with the machine.
Any thoughts?
Hi all,
I believe that a 780 is pretty much an 880 engine block so will the LQ8 loader with the spool controls fit..? Its looks ok and the hole placements on the arms looks correct.
Thanks
Rolf

Anyone using this compost on grassland ? I make haylage every year and have no livestock, I'm very reluctant to import Slurry or Dung as in the past I've found that it's a great way to import weeds /docks etc. It seems that at times this compost can be obtained FOC, so just thinking it might be...

I've got a decent area going into various schemes. Sourcing the straight seeds and mixing them could be a viable option.
Question is what is everyone using to mix it? My Belle is definitely a cement only machine so just curious what everyone else would use?
Thanking you

I’m having a 14t trailer built mainly for straw but a couple of times a year will be used for moving an 8t excavator and manitou. Thinking 27ft with a 4 foot extension that can be slotted in at the rear, so don’t really want a beaver tail. Was thinking of having the towing eye on top of the...

As above, anyone have any experience of using this trailer to transport a 8.5t digger? Just seems to make sense to take dump trailer and digger together, so you don’t have to keep running back and forth with a low loader. It would also reduce the capital tied up in having both a low loader and a...
Got a telehandler with nearly 8000 hours on it. Needs some things doing to it. It’s due a full oil change, 4 new tyres, headstock and telearm re pinning and bushes. Approx price on the above is £5,000.

Kubota is a large corporation with the resources to back the development of its product ranges, both from an engineering point of view and the sales and marketing angle.
Yet, it is also Japanese, and tends to be cautious about jumping on bandwagons or...
