    Dirty water pump

What kind of pump do people use for dirty water. I want to pump out yard water which has silage in too, not loads but enough to get in the filter of a petrol 2 inch pump. I'm hoping to fit a length pipe and pump it out to drain away, so high pressure could be handy. It also could be used to...

Joskin Modul02 with trailing shoe (solodisc meadow) macerator setup?

Hello, I recently bought Joskin Modul02 11000 ME from Austria year of production is 2008 . Since it's my first time using the Joskin slurry tanks and using the trailing shoe I did not know that there was a macerator and that it needed to be (in my case) powered by hydrulic pipes from the...

Amazone sprayer on a Massey dyna vt

Occasionally I have to put my amazone uf 1602 on a massey ferguson 6718S dyna vt (normal tractor is a 6713S dyna 6) - the sprayer hydraulics work off the load sensing pipes on the tractor, when on the Vt it will switch off the front suspension or make it work funny as if it’s starving it of...

JD 6930 air pocket in hydraulics?

I have had the auxiliary oil tank off for repair on my JD 6930 premium, now it sounds like there is air in the system when I run the macerator on my slurrytank. I didn't fill up the auxiliary oiltank with oil, could there be air trapped in the system, and if so. How do I release it? Thanks.

Watch: Vogelsang takes XSplit slurry separator on tour to Mullingar

Written by Justin Roberts from Agriland Removing the solid fraction of slurry and returning the liquid to the lagoon has long been a common practice on the continent, but there now appears a determined push to popularise it in Ireland. There are many advantages to removing the fibre from...

Secondhand dribble bars, what to check for

Have seen a few secondhand for sale. Know very little about them, do think that I probly would source the macerator and make my own to suit the tanker but just a thought this might suit as a quick start to go straight one tanker. It seems to be the smaller ones 6.5 metre, but I haven't looked...

    Dribble bar

Hi all, Does anyone else have trouble getting slurry to o through the dribble bar when it's thicker. It's fine on the splash plate but it's really slow through the dribble bar. Looking at it in the pit you would think its fine to go through. Is there any tips to get it going better or are they...

Dribble bars, when are they becoming mandatory?

We got a leaflet and associated info through early this year saying as of January 1st 2023 all slurry on a farm in Scotland with over 200 cattle in total must apply slurry using a low emissions system, and there’s a grant to support this. We’ve ordered one but I can’t say the idea fills me with...
