Hi All,
Currently looking at buying a new slurry 2000g tanker and trailing shoe system. So far, Belmac are pricing considerably cheaper than the competitors. Just curious to find out peoples opinion on the brand and their experience in terms of performance/quality.
Any feedback appreciated.
Hi all,
Does anyone else have trouble getting slurry to o through the dribble bar when it's thicker. It's fine on the splash plate but it's really slow through the dribble bar. Looking at it in the pit you would think its fine to go through. Is there any tips to get it going better or are they...
We got a leaflet and associated info through early this year saying as of January 1st 2023 all slurry on a farm in Scotland with over 200 cattle in total must apply slurry using a low emissions system, and there’s a grant to support this.
We’ve ordered one but I can’t say the idea fills me with...
Looking at trialing shoes and dribble bars, but liking the look of trailing shoe. Ideally need something that can be mounted to tanker, or used on tractor as umbilical system. Used on grass land only. What would be the best brand to go for? Anybody have experiences with different brands?
I have just been accepted for the grant on a trailing shoe, however since putting in for it I have learnt that it would be too heavy for my current tanker and so am looking at either a Joskin, Hi spec or Major 2000g with a trailing shoe depending on what's in stock in time for the grant .

Currently looking at Storth, major and Slurrykat bars. Was wanting 9m but there’s a big price jump to the 9m slurrykat and major only do a 7.5 anyways.
All salesman have said 7.5m is popular. However I can’t help but think I’m going to be narrower than splash plate. Unless it’s the wrong way to...
Are there any users of the mastek eco trailing shoe? What's the general opinion? Looking at a 9m unit for a tanker. Not a huge fan of dribble bars but they are a lot simpler and cheaper cheers
Does anybody here have any experience with front slurry tanks doing umbilical so not spreading the headlands when turning
as got a customer not wanting any spread on headlands due to over spreading. I know WOX do one but just wondered if anything else on the market or how good they are. Cheers
Who makes the cheapest 6m dribble bar? Looking for one to fit on the back of an existing 1600 gallon major tanker, not heavy user only 250k gallon a year but like to be independent and 4k grant available at the moment.
As above really. Is there any difference between dribble bar and trailing shoe, ie can I graze it any quicker after trailing shoe than dribble? How soon could I graze after dribble bar/trailing shoe application. Can I cut out artificial nitrogen altogether on my grazing ground or silage ground...
I am wondering what were the biggest issues or problems you have with your slurry applicators. I have been looking into the different brands and types of dribble bars and I am wondering what was the biggest nuisance you have with your machine. I have seen that some people find some dribble bars...

We have been doing our own umbilical pumping for a few years with a twin nozzle splash plate type spreader and are looking to buy a 7.5 or 9 metre dribble bar.
I've priced up one or 2 so far and waiting on a few more prices. They all seem about the same money so was wondering if anyone could...
Anybody got one or use one? Are they really any good? Any tips to get the best out of them, Any particular designs or features to recommend/look out for or avoid?
As above, any info, opinions or thoughts gratefully received.
Cheers
Hi
I see that some of the manufacturers equip the dribble bar with splash plate. I`ve search the forum to find out why, do anyone have good good explanation? Isn`t the splash plate just extra unnecessary cost?

Have to go down the umbilical dribblebar route now and need a new reel/dribblebar setup. Been using umbilical for our own use for over 10yrs now.
Been looking over the past year or so at Slurrykat and Slurryquip. Never got round to looking at Mastek. What I gathered so far from speaking at...
