Continuing on from my previous post whereby I put a cage roller on my superflow, I'm now thinking about modifying it further. We were thinking about buying a cultivator with the nice splayed out ducks foot tines, that dont leave half the field uncultivated like the superflow seems to - problem...
Hi all
Has anyone any experience of the new version of the MF 5711M dinashift (115hp) seem to get very good reviews
Currently have a Maxxum 110 possibly thinking of changing to this....any thoughts?
Looking at a new Case IH Maxxum 125 for general trailer/loader tractor duties, any thoughts/experiences with these tractors would be much appreciated
Not had a Case IH on this farm for about ten years, but things have moved on considerably since then.
Seen a number of 2yr old examples...
Does any one know how the 4wd system works in these tractors, Lost 4wd going down hill no indicator lights now. Tracto not under load other than a tip trailer with light branches. any ideas??
Cheers
Thoughts on these tractors?
We're thinking of changing/updating our JX95 loader tractor whilst it's still worth something. Probably a 95C or even a 105C secondhand.
I have a simba freeflow and it needs a replacement ram for using the tramline kit. The thing is I don't have enough spools on the tractor to use it anyway. Would it be possible to use a 12v actuator to replace it like below. Has anyone done something similar?
Need a new topper, mainly for horse paddock work here and for customers, needs to be 2.8 mtrs and useable by 120 hp tractor, is front mounting an advantage too ?
A word of caution….
I sold my 2015 Amazone UX3200 sprayer a few weeks ago because it had done 70,000 acres and it was also tactically the right thing to do from a deprecation/tax point of view.
i bought it new, and I can honestly say it never once let me down. Ever.
I wanted a new Amazone...
I know this sounds absurd.
Just under 200 acres.
How difficult can it be?
But now we are required to be “qualified” in every aspect from agronomy, fertiliser planning, driving various bits of machinery etc and to attend ongoing training to gain CPD points I really just don’t have time to do...
Hi there,
I'm looking for some help, if possible.
I've a T4.95 which seems to have either an ECU issue (death) or some electrical issue prior to the ECU.
I was getting a stop warning, alternator error light and an oil pressure light. There is plenty of oil in the engine and there is...
Am I the only one shocked at paying to park for Lamma, or should I not be surprised?
OK it was always cold when we were outside, but you parked next to the show and got on with it!
Is this going the way of Cereals, soon not worth bothering with?
Always thought it was a friendlier atmosphere and...
BBC news this evening tells of a RR being stolen and discovered in a container at the docks en-route to Africa. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-64151619
The accompanying CCTV clip shows the new RR outside the owners property and a car thief sneaking up on it. Seconds later the...

So, my MF6470 with perkins 1104 is giving me the chills. According to the gauge, and cab heater it never gets to operating temp.
From cold it doesn't matter how long it's left ticking over - the gauge won't budge off the stop. With steady work it will rise to 1/4. In more typical ambient...
This might be a daft question but how are tractor hours calculated? Is an hour an hour and is an idling hour recorded the same as an hour at full tilt? Cheers
Evening guys.
We have a fiat 780. 1980something. These cold days she gets very hard to start. Just wondering if there is any way of heating these tractors before starting. Or what measures can be taken to prevent cold starting in these temperatures between 5 and -2degC.
It is in a locked shed...
Just taking the hedge trimmer off and it’s fascinating the old stickers on equipment. Will bring back memories of long lost and current dealers.
Just to start.
