Not made hay on the farm for about 20 years and changing the business plan a bit and looking to make about 5ha of hay to start with then ramp up to 15-20ha as fields come round in rotation. Got zero kit for fodder production just now and looking to get a mower (prefer with conditioner)...
Hi, I recently bought a new tractor (a first for me) from a dealer. They have sent me the V5 but it is not in my name, but theirs - registration date on the day I purchased it.
The dealer tells me this is normal for tractors and all I have to do is fill in the change of ownership details on the...

I have just bought a mchale 995lm small bale wrapper and have got it up to scratch, needed a few flange bearings etc and have got it running on 360mm wrap.
I know 250mm wrap is better for keeping the bale on the table but does anyone have any tips to keeping the bale on the table. I...
Looking to buy a new single rotor rake 4.2-4.6m, and looking for some opinions before I make a final decision. I have narrowed it down to the Krone or Massey (as have dealers for both of these locally)
Was thinking this afternoon that my earlier thread on paintwork could be turned around to be positive.....so please post below machines that have excellent paintwork.

Why do manufacturers do such a poor job of paintwork?
I’d never consider just giving something a single tip coat on its own, yet I’ve hardly seen a single machine in recent years that has had an undercoat.
Plenty of mentions of JCB paintwork on here.
New Holland black paint on all combines...
The baler works fine until the net wrapping process. The net starts ok but it doesn’t complete the process and the knife doesn’t try and cut the net. The spindle doesn’t seem to move right I think either which could be the cause.
That things are changing?
Ive been looking at telehandlers and found one in as new condition with low hours but 14 months old. I enquired with the dealer and the price was £72,500 which is about £12,000 less than a new price today so a reasonable discount I thought. In the meantime a fellow tff...
I have a mchale fusion1 here and when the bale goes onto the rapping table the rapping ring only rotates 3-4 times before flashing safety swich on the control box and beeping. Seems to work ok in Manuel,
Anyone here ever had this problem or knows to to fix it? Thanks in advance.
