I have just covered 36,000 miles and need to replace my tyres, I am thinking of BF Goodrich all terrains, yet they seem really expensive at nearly £200 a tyre, any thoughts on other makes?

I have a set of Michelin multibib tyres on a 19 plate tractor, it's done 2500 hours and they have about 50% tread left.
The other day I found a crack in the sidewall and got it patched but it's leaking again, there's a couple more bad spots in this particular back tyre.
Do I get it repaired...

We are after a new set of tyres and have been quoted the thick end of 14k for a set of Trelleborg and 8k for a set of BKT.
But are they cheap for a reason? The tractor will do minimal road work and only does chaser bin and rolling, probably 400 hours a year and we are hoping a new set will last...
