As per title really, I've been making hay for 5 years or more on my own and have always made some really nice stuff but just opened a couple of bales made 12 weeks ago and its dusty, moisture meter said sub 16% when it was made, what have I done wrong? Or what is the science behind it?
Looking at a 2017 jf 10ft trailed mower. Think it’s a kongskilde jf 3205 is the model. Anyone know what there like. Looks strong machine, well built. Not much about them anywhere online. Any faults or should they be avoided.

Been looking at different front mowers. Some sit on linkage (claas) and float like that and some have a linkage design so your practialling toeing the mower (pottinger/krone) instead of pushing it meaning it's fully floated. What are peoples opinions on the different mowers?
Surely a disc mower can never give a closer cut than a drum mower because the disc mower blade has to pass over the gearbox casing, meaning it can't get as near to the ground?
So why do people pay lots for disc mowers, especially as the gearboxes seem very expensive and more prone to damage...
