    Spray license

Hello all, I'm looking at digging our old sprayer out of the shed and fixing the pump then using it for spraying off grassland and round the borders of fields with roundup. It's only a 12m sprayer so can't do the arable with it. Do I need a sprayer license for that? I was thinking I could...

    A Degree in Agriculture?

What exactly do people gain from it? Farming is 90% hard graft and 20% inherited nowse innit? I “did” engineering and without that I’d be well n truly felled as an arable farmer, though my old man taught me more of that than uni. The agronomist specs the chemicals, I did PA1 and 2 and FACTS. I...

    Basis and nroso

i thought it was the case that if you were on the Basis professional register (50 points per year) that Nroso would automatically accept those points as good enough for them. Poll: Should NFU be lobbying AIC to change their rules?

So, as we know, AIC have a set of rules which make market access for imported grains into our UK mills relatively easy. Yet the AIC rules make it much more difficult for UK produced grain to access these UK markets. Crazy isn't it. This is a straight forward issue, and one which is...
