As above .
I say brands,as many tractor brands are under the umbrella of Agco and to a lesser degree Case/New Holland.
I am sure some of you will have tried most makes/brands.
I must add that I am now semi retired but occasionally help out someone who runs Case tractors and they seem to be not...
Hi, we currently have case quadtrac and we are downsizing to a cat 865c
We are currently using the case GPS system with the pro screen 700. Would we be able to use the same GPS dome and screen for the challenger?
I know we could go on to Trimble but we love the 700 screen and so easy to use...

Advances in power, road speed, suspension and tyre technology mean conventional wheeled tractors are replacing tracked models as some larger farms’ mainline machines. But one Bucks contractor believes the former don’t hold all the cards...
Not for the first time have I read of a direct drill comparison and found the best margins were obtained by quite a large percentage by a more conventional approach. ( This weeks FW )
Is it possible that DD and cover cropping can work and can be successful but if you are not bothered about being...
I have always liked the idea of rebailing both hay and straw into conventional bales.
Much less stress in the summer - just smack it into big squares or rounds just as it’s fit, so easy to cart, stack. Etc…
Then, in the winter, when it’s cold and wet outside, feed them into a conventional...

It arrived before Christmas and did not get to use it until after in the new year. Managed to do some ploughing and with only 8.5 hrs on the clock it had a breakdown where 2 bolts came loose and pushed off the timing belt. This...
As the title, I have been approached by soil capital after expressing an interest some time ago. Have put the numbers into their calculator and it comes out with a quite significant payment. Has anyone had dealings with soil capital or any of the others out there?
We currently run a Solo ST successfully on our Oxford clays, but have been looking for a decent Simba SL400 to increase work rates and improve the finish. We are struggling to find a decent SL to buy, and I don't really want the rigid leg such as that in the Sumo Trio. We need a trailed machine...

SIMA is known as the international exhibition of technologies and solutions for efficient and sustainable agriculture and takes place from...
Think this is the right place- just cultivated, simba express with st bar, 13.5 ha on a full tank of diesel (175 l) on new holland t6, 150hp. How does that compare..
Either I’m getting less tolerant as I get older or I have a problem. I know the ground is bloody hard but my 8370rt is getting a really rough ride, I’m sure it use to glide along the ground. The air bag is full. Any ideas

Germany has a strong association with systems tractors, stemming from a long held view that tractors are multipurpose vehicles rather than the more focused machines favoured by pre-war Anglo American manufacturers.
Lanz, amongst others, was typical of...
