not a big machinery man if I’m honest, can drive them and do basic repairs but not the biggest geek when it comes to spec and all.
as such I’m hoping to get a few opinions from the experts.

This was a scene on loads of farms in the 80s. Normally peeing of rain with dirty bags . But l think more laughs in those days. Dad on loader mum and l on bags and great old family friend tying the buggers, double baging sides and top row. Old fiat 5804wd was the loader tractor.
I have always liked the idea of rebailing both hay and straw into conventional bales.
Much less stress in the summer - just smack it into big squares or rounds just as it’s fit, so easy to cart, stack. Etc…
Then, in the winter, when it’s cold and wet outside, feed them into a conventional...

I sold my 2015 Amazone UX3200 sprayer a few weeks ago because it had done 70,000 acres and it was also tactically the right thing to do from a deprecation/tax point of view.

I have been farming all my life,a long time, remember 1976 36c and no ac,this year 41c very hot. After Writtle college 6 of us drove to Benidorn Spain in a 109 long wheel base land rover took 2 days no problem, those were good days.
We are looking to bring our baling in-house and are looking for a good second hand round baler that will give us a good hard centre as we use a bale unrolled for feeding.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a baler that would fit the bill?
