Just been contacted by a neighbour who wants to buy 200 or so 4’ wheat round bales but I’ve no idea what is a reasonable price each this year. Location is north Glos. Any indication would be appreciated.

Went to a sale on Monday looking for hay , not much in but there was some nice haylage in 4 footers , just thought 357kg was heavy for that stuff , am I out of touch ? They were well baled

Saw a wagon and drag today carrying rectangular bales not the big Hestons the next size down. He had one strap across the front tier from right to left. On wagon and drag. And one diagonally across back of wagon and one diagonally across bag of drag . That was it . 4 straps . Crazy .

Have access to a Wile 27 moisture probe, what moisture content is considered safe for barn storage of round bales hay . ????

Don't do many normally but this year could have done loads , must bale straw where my old welgar fails badly
