My bulk diesel tank will not gravity feed into the combine, so I fill the diesel bowser and then pump into the combine.
Not always handy so looking to put a 240v wall mounted pump on my bulk tank.
I see them advertised anywhere between £150-£900, any recommendations for one?
Hi all. Looking to replace my 4 rotor tedder for a 6 rotor, something like a lely lotus 770 (now made my MF new). Have had quotes from a couple of dealers, what does everyone have, do you like it and is there much difference between brands? Theres a second hand lotus in the local case dealer for...
Hello
I'm looking to replace my Sealy air cooled welder. It's just for occasional use at home
Looked on Amazon and e bay there's no end of different makes around 140 - 160 amps some below £50. The more I look the more confused I get
It's an arc welder I'm after
Thanks
Hi
Heard a lot about Sip on here but never spoken to an owner.
I'm seriously considering the 340 (3.25m) silvercut plain mower.
Got a few quotes and it's been whittled down to that or a plain kuhn, will either be the 3.1 or 3.5m.
3yr warranty for sip gives confidence. Anyone running them...
This is a thread for those who feel guilty about cluttering up dear old GUTH’s beloved price tracker with the chit chat that stop us all being that miserable our families would throw us all out to sit with the dog in the porch. All are welcome, you can even post prices if you want. The only rule...
Probably looking to replace mower for next season, lely 320mc atm, what to look for? And what to avoid, mounted 3m(ish). conditioner or not? Cutting sensible crops of grass for bales silage and some hay but also cutting thick rough margin grass
I'm just about to start the building of my house. What renewables would you recommend? Have plenty of access to timber on farm and pallets at my work. Medium sized river run within 100m of the house though low head 11m I have measured, but quite high flow of approx 600 litres per second. South...

SIP produces the world’s largest mower outfit – it has a cutting width of 15m, is in regular production and available to order, there is even a good chance of it coming to Ireland next year.
More interestingly still, rather than it being the product of...

Advances in spreading accuracy had, up until this spring, been largely ignored, despite companies like Sulky putting tremendous efforts into improving the situation.
The hike in prices earlier this year has certainly awoken farming from its torpor and...
Looking for replacement front plain disc after writing off our New Holland mower last week. People’s views on what’s good and what to avoid would be appreciated. The following features would be good :-
STRONG quality blades that don’t bend
Good ground following abilities
Bed protection system...
Just want a smallish one for pumping up tyres speedily and a cleaning off the odd item (air tools have been replaced by battery tools).
It won't even do 1 hour a week - any half decent ones?
Stupid question - will a 50 litre one take longer to pump a tyre than 100 litre or does that just...

No paying at the gate or car park, all online, people not happy, what if you buy tickets for the Thursday and its to pee of rain that day, you can't change your mind, terrible idea.
Answer me this then
Is it possible to convert a SPFH in to a zero grazer?
Remember, the key is to cause the least damage to the cut grass so knives out for a start but what about drum? Will the impeller be able to accelerate grass of, say 10” , up and through spout without blocking?
To be fair he has a point regard growing crops for bio fuel , but would take issue regard vast uplands un cropable , thats why there are sheep there ...
Chased up a quote from a stove installer, to be informed that they can no longer install solid fuel ’boiler stoves’, as the government has yet to clarify the details of the European ‘EcoDesign Lot 20’ regulations.
I rang the Arada Stoves factory and they confirmed that it is not possible to...
It's a bit early really, but we've just started selling tickets to this years show (22/23rd June 2022). Every year I tell everyone that they shouldn't hang about too long as we're going to sell out and this years no different. We've got room this year for a few more (post covid), but there's a...
