    Feeding concentrates

    Our parlour feeders are knackered. Keeping them going with welding up anything which breaks and filling in gaps but probably got another year tops in them, its a loft with manual feeding and drops of .9kg each time. Not keen on replacing them as I think really long term the parlour will move but...

    Sheep- what do folk feed when the grass runs out?

    What do folk usually feed to keep ewes ticking over before starting concentrates closer to lambing? We usually just fed a small amount of ewe rolls from end December start of January on, but the feed bill would be scary these days. Tried beet but it’s expensive now.
