    Can anyone identify the plant in attached photo? It's growing well and the sheep won't touch it. Is there anyway of slowing it, without use of sprays or completely reseeding? Thanks

    Which OSR pesticides /insecticides have been banned from use by uk farmers?

    I ask the above as now not farming myself I have become ignorant of what has been banned. I only ask as I wish to find out from my Canadian farming contact if they had any similar chemicals banned. I appreciate they only seed spring seeded OSR /canola . Thank you

    Weed ID.

    I have 11 acres of old sward which was badly hit by the drought following mowing last summer, now it has quite an extensive infestation of the following weed. Is this Chickweed?

    thoughts? In Suffolk we have only had a couple mm rain in the last month. Personally we have good disease resistance varieties. Can’t find any disease present. Didn’t get a T0 either. If it doesn’t rain do we need to put fungicides on?

    forage rape

    seeing as we seem to have an earlyish spring, how soon do you think we could start sowing hybred rape for y/s grazing ? can any one recommend a spray to take out fat hen ? we have been quoted £50 acre, which seems a bit steep
