We purchased a late 2008 Manitou 627t last August. Its doing all that is asked of it. Previous owner had the spool block replaced about a year ago, which is a common fault on these. Can anyone here tell me if its normal for the engine to be put under load whilst lowering the boom. It really...
I've a 2000 jcb 530-70 telehandler, it's not got boom suspension but I was wondering if I fitted an accumulator bottle somewhere along the hydraulic pipe that goes to the ram that's lifts the boom will it give them boom suspension? I suppose it'll be a double acting ram too so possibly need two...

I'm about to commence a county court claim against this outfit, who sold me a tractor which was significantly mis-described. Does anyone else have any similar experiences with them?
Long story short, I enquired about a 2013 MF5410 early November 2023. I decided against progressing...
any ideas on how:unsure: , in the absence of a proper bought vehicle lift :(.......anyone made their own
ideally want it up fairly high as my old joints and back don't like lying on the floor :cautious:
TIA
got some to sort out for sheep feeding....cant afford to buy a bucket and Just thinking/ looking for ideas on how to make one from the scrap pile .........
How well are they made?
I found them online but have not seen them in the flesh. I'd be looking at a basic telehandler mounted machine with rock spike and side tilt.
I'm also looking at Protech 220+ with heavier weight and manual tilt.
Any thoughts?

This year the straw I’ve been supplied is chopped, how this straw compares as bedding to non chopped:
Negative:
1. Cattle are mucky after 24hrs, to keep them in the same condition as non chopped straw would need double the round bales.
2. It’s probably due to to a wetter year and how the wind...
Whats everyone elses position. The wheats looking really hungry now and its so wet wondering whether just go and make a mess or be patient?! Must be loosing yield surely.
Mulling things over … now I love farming ( mostly) and as some of you know, I’ve said it’s all I ever wanted to do .
But times are changing and with the weather on top of poor ground plus my age and aches and pains, I’ve been wondering if it’s time to say enough
Part of me feels guilty as if I...
