So we've got oodles of lights in the house, let's take the kitchen as an example: 15 down lighters all 12v, little transformers (that won't run a led), at 50w. Lovely bright halogen bulbs and I always make sure to get high quality bright 3000k warm white jobbies At 680 lumens. Sounds fickle I...
As above, what’s you trusty farm vehicle?
Many of you need them daily for livestock many are arable like myself
Mines a car, as it’s cheap as chips to run/tax and insure, can tow a trailer when needed.
Just considering taking out Private Health Insurance
Looking at the “big 3”. BUPA, Aviva, axa
just wondering what other farmers opinions are ?
Currently our NHS is pretty good in our area
But things appear to be declining as a whole

Hello,
I have just bought a Claas Arion 530 and now find that it is throwing fault codes. Usually 7777h which is reduction in fuel pressure. This is then often followed by one or more of these: 7781, 7782, 7786, which are all related to the EGR valve. Also 771Bh tonight which is an air intake...
Found this while clearing out the attic. No idea where or when it was taken, but would guess Shropshire , Cheshire or may be Staffordshire.
Guess at 1940-1950s?
New portal frame shed, car and Land Rover in yard.
Any interest to anyone ?!
Would love to find one of that era of our farm
Afternoon all, had a warning buzzer, lights etc come on, adblue deteriorated, drain adblue tank and put in new adblue. Have done that but warning buzzer and warning lights still on, performance is unaffected.
Very difficult to drive with the incredibly loud buzzer going off!
Is there anyway to...
Tractor just out of warranty but at the last service it got an engine update and now drinks the stuff. Gone from about 3 tanks diesel to one adblue refill which I could live with , to now matching a tank for a tank.
Anyone tried one of these ...

Hi, due to a change in farming policy, we are looking to go from two tractors to one. It needs to have a loader and I think around the 125/130hp mark as it needs to tow a 12 tonne trailer full of chicken muck. Probably looking around 5-6 years old at the most.
I've seen a few about and I've...
So, my time on the seat will be going up this coming season, been enjoying our classic fleet the past few years, but coming to accept they are tiring to run on long days and should possibly look to go back a bit more modern. Thinking to go two to one with 7800 and 6400 against a medium frame...

When my offce blow heater started to complain, I knew it was an easy fix. Just remove the plastic cover and clean and lubricate the simple bearings. I had not allowed for the manufacturer's four "tri-winged security screws" that need a special screw driver to undo them. A "tri-winged" is a bit...
Looking to get a set of sheep shears for tailing and maggots. I’ve tried the Horner shearing zipper 2 and it was sh!t blew up after a few tailing a few lambs managed to get it rebuilt under warranty and then it did the same again so not interested in anything from them. Is there any other brands...
My wife drives a 19 reg diesel fiesta. It's been in the garage for weeks because of a wiring loom fault.
Ford say they are out of stock and unlikely to be available until March.
So if it turns up then, and is the correct one, that would be six months without her car.
Surely Ford should be...
Just had a call from a surveying company about our tractor buying. Was offering a £20 voucher else I wouldn't have bothered. Asked which brands we had, then asked which we would consider next time, he reeled off a load of tractor manufacturers, I told him the ones I may be interested in, but...
Good morning All,
I have a neighbour looking at a machine at D and A Kidd in Penrith. Its a long way to go to view the machine. He is happy with what they have told him about the machine.
Has anybody had any dealings with them and would vouch for them ?
Regards
