    When to start putting N on wheat?

    I was always told that February nitrogen flattens crops. RB209 recommends nothing until the start of stem extension, and not before early April, unless it has low tiller numbers.     Hi, Tried last year to install the forward speed sensor on a Fastrac 155-65, for a RDS 34 controller (GEM Sprayer). I must have got it very wrong as the drive shaft chewed up the sensor! Anyone got a guide as to how to install these? Thanks
