Evening all…
I’m very much kicking the idea around in my head of a front tank for my spraying tractor…
Now, as some of you know, I’m a little tractor man, no 200hp here!!
My reasoning is, it would give me an extra 4 acres ish per tank, which is a big help when travelling back and too. I’ve...
Got a job on the go that's not really thread worthy?
Not a QFB&C?
Not quite a NQFEorAQB?
Whatever it is, show us what you're working on today, TFF.
I'm desperately trying to revive the aircon system on my newly purchased Same but it's snowballing a bit (I probably shouldn't have bothered with...
There’s has been many debates over the years around the true cost of running older SP Sprayers. Just over two years ago I bought a 2004 chafer mirage with 7000hrs on the clock, and now it has been sold i have gone through my accounts and I can offer an accurate result of the figures. These...

Have an old Cleanacres trailed sprayer with tracking wheels. Blew a hydraulic hose on Saturday and so lost the pressure. Does anyone know the correct procedure to re-boot it?
It consists of one ram each side with an accumulator in the middle.
I have worked on the theory that if I close one ram...
Is anyone able to tell me if this is repairable? Or who to contact for vulcanising?
It's a 800/65r32 Michelin MegaXbib. It is off a combine. My idea is to use it on a trailed sprayer if it is repairable.
Thanks.

The back tyre on my spraying tractor has just literally gone pop, and so I'm looking for a 650/60-38. I got them on eBay and they were originally off a trailed sprayer so if anyone has got one or knows who would be likely to have one please let me know. If it's relevant they are Trelleborg Twin...
Should know the answers to this but...
I have a 7530 with 4 manual spools. When I'm eg running the hydraulic fan on the front hopper, and then say lift the rear linkage, the fan stops running, presumably as oil gets diverted to the lift rams. Is this normal?
The question being I'm...
So this sold on Saturday at DDM's sale at Epworth - for £66,500 + 5% commission. How I wish I had ordered one in 2003 instead of listening to my Father and ordering a 6920S
Aye-up,
Just had a chap I know asking me a question, not sure on the answer….
He has a tractor powered wood chipper and wants to pull a trailer behind it on the road, just an empty trailer. Is that legal? If not, would it be legal if he put the trailer first with the chipper behind?
If legal...
Just been and looked at a john deere 832 sprayer with el4 control box .... was on a new john deere and there was a lead that went to the isobus connector.. I think there was only 3 pins in there so I'm assuming u could replace it with a cobo 3pin power plug as we don't have isobus connection...
I have a Gem Emerald. The answer is possibly the same on a Sapphire, I'm not sure.
I have a switch in the cab to increase and decrease the pressure in the Ramsay Valve. Presumably this is done by a small compressor somewhere.
When I press the switch, the fuse blows so something clearly isn't...
The Opportunity: A new opportunity to join a small young vibrant team who are responsible for approx 1,000 hectares of combinable crops. Crops include Wheat, Barley, Oats, Oilseed Rape, Peas and Beans. You will manage the day to day spraying operations with a John Deere and John Deere trailed...
Found a 5000l chafer sprayer with 36m booms I like the look of. We are flat land and do liquid fertiliser. What size of tractor would you think is needed and what size hydraulic pump?
Realistically with fertiliser prices still rising and my fuel supplier is saying Red diesel will just hit parity with white diesel very shortly, can we actually carry on?
Just looking at our combine as it’s going to cost us £45,000 in fuel alone this coming harvest if Red diesel hits £1.50/l...
Just seen Fendt dropping trailer sprayers can’t say I’m surprised it was just another top end full spec trailed sprayer nothing outstanding just green paint and red wheels but that obviously wasn’t a big enough draw for people.
