The handbook is here:

An overview blogpost is here...
What’s the thing about slurry and lime? Is it no slurry before lime or no lime before slurry?
And whichever way it is, why? They’re are two natural products, surely they can be applied together?
Been in contact with the firm , basically 33-30 this time looked as if it were a compounded prill instead of Prilled urea and sulphur crystals , been told they used Egyptian white sulphur and can test it to make sure , can’t get it this time and it will be back to crystals again . looking to get...
Urea novice here. Bought a load last autumn in blind panic when the world was predicting fert price of eleventy gazillion pounds. Used half of it this spring but too nervous to use any in this heat.
We’re not farm assured or in any schemes so the question is, we’re likely to get some decent...
Let’s start a harvest 23 thread! So how far do we all think we are from starting? Winter barley rapidly ripening here early start is on the cards. First week of july maybe, rape just starting to lose its greenness also!
There are increased concerns around whether the current grass growth rates on farm will be enough for livestock grazing and forage production this season.
According to GrassCheck GB soil moisture deficits are ranging from 101.7– 65.9 cb, indicating that soils are extremely dry and grass growth...

Agriland got to see the Sphere system in operation on a Dutch dairy farm this past week...
Still got 70 odd units of N still to go on the maize.
Going away for a week on Saturday and just wondered if sensible to spread AN tomorrow in the hope we get some rain but equally granules could be left caught in leaves with no rain ever arriving. Can this cause a problem?
The longer it gets...
As above really, I wanna get me grazing ground going and get some on for 2nd cut. I have some AN with I feel happy to spread, but not enough, and I have some protected urea, should I spread this with this current forecast that seems like we may or may not get some rain?
Is anyone on this contract with Frontier, any experience you would like to share? I like the look of it but object to buying certified seed every year.

Just watched the met office you tube channel and there’s no a lot of certainty of rain in Essex. just live in hope really. spring Barley is crap. Borage needs nitrogen. Wheat is started to give up. lets hope we get a drop.
We have purchased prilled Urea for next spring and have the option to have sulphur added to it before it’s batched and delivered. We would usually use CF Double Top to provide the crops requirements for SO3 in a single dose. If we want to apply the first 2 doses to OSR WW WB with a urea sulphur...
With my new vets as part of a package I have monthly body condition scoring + mobility scoring done by a vet tech. I had the first visit last week and am just trying to work out what to do with the data.
Mobility scoring is easy, anything 3 pick up asap in one big session, score 2 is easy again...
