    Michelin or Trelleborg?

Which would you choose? On a new tractor. Any user experiences welcome. Could have Mitas again but happy to pay the extra. Not interested in Firestone. BKT not an option. Have driven tractors with both on 650/540 sizes. I've never felt too safe on Michelins on banks, whether they've been pumped...

    Warranty on tyres

Some tyre dealers Will look after you if you’ve got an issue, And the manufacturer will keep the warranty quiet ,as normally they carry a three year warranty in the UK .But they will try every excuse under the Sun to get out of it. Just come across some farming papers I brought back from...

    Trailer floatation tyre choices

560/60r22.5 options Michelin Cargoxbib or BKT FL693? Price is very similar, only £50 more for the michelin. Are they still the better tyre? 1 lasting memory of following a laden trailer round a tight yard on Michelins and they looked like they were going to pull off the rim, speaking to the...

Opinions on Bridgestone VT / VX tyres?

Considering a set of VF type tyres and wondering if anyone has experience of either the low pressure Bridgestone VT range or the new VX more ‘road oriented’ tyres. Will be used for all arable jobs and a bit of road work. For what it’s worth it’s 600/70-28 fronts and 710/70-38. TIA

    BKT or Alliance Tyres ?

Alliance or Bkt ? replacing a set of 650/65/42 & 600/65/28 on a JD6150, I’ve used bkt before and was very pleased with them, Alliance are £700 cheaper tho, but had no experience of them. Would like the saving of £700 but they need to be right for the job. Anyone had experience of these makes? Thanks

Tractor is used mainly for cultivation and drilling, but does a fair bit of road work when needed....Normally run Michelin Mach x bibs but have spoken to vredestein rep at Lamma that reckons traxion xxl are a better option!!!! Where’s the catch?

Looking to hire a loadall rather than buy one through HP as we currently do. For only £60/month more, we would get a brand new machine every 6 months based on changing it every 1000 hours with no service costs. Obviously any major damage like a crumpled mudguard we would be liable for and there...

    Project Xerion.

At long last I’ve made a tentative start on the Xerion. It’s been a long story of hassle and hold ups since I bought it in September and that shows no sign of letting up. Parts are desperately slow to arrive and to date, after ordering everything in early February the only things I’ve received...
