Step child currently has a 12v one but it’s useless on the plastic wheels is there an easy way to make it more usedull for farm tracks and abit of grass? Think fitting proper wheels and tyres might kill its abit underpowered… Don’t think he’s ready for a 50cc yet
Right then folks, time to attempt to come to an informed decision. Previously I've only driven Yamaha Kodiak 450's and Grizzly 700's. The 700 is obviously a better bike to suit my needs as described in the other thread...
I'm not about to pay the price for second hand quad at the moment and a new one isn't realistic when I try to balance the cost of it with the infrequent but necessary work it'll be doing.
What I'm trying to wrap my head around is, loaded on soft & hilly ground, which would be more capable. A...
For me I have had no better motor than my Daihatsu 4trak, why were these things allowed to be discontinued.
The only off roader I ever was in as good as it was an old Subaru forester we used for going round parks at home,
So anyone else miss the old 4 tracks?
Does anyone have any experience of these, ideally several years to get an idea of longevity?
I’m contemplating replacing an ageing bike and inevitably the price of these is appealing with a lot apparently being sold lately but my gut feeling is to avoid them having seen people caught with cheap...
Was told today by a policeman that helmets are mandatory at all times while riding a quad bike. I have always knew that helmets were needed for work(HSE Rules) but when used for 'leisure' activities then wearing a helmet was optional. Advise please. I usually wear a helmet
TIA
Thought I'd ask in the classic thread as it's getting on a bit
Don't know anything about quads but bought one in the spring for occasional use moving cattle and sheep. Underneath the carburettor there's a plastic pipe that goes nowhere but appears to leak fuel when it's not in use so wondering...
Hello all.
Lots of thefts happening locally and just trying to up the security a little at the yard. We have a half decent cctv system and Wi-Fi at the yard.
What I’m after is a simple way of being alerted if either a vehicle or person comes into the yard. The cctv will do this but gets a lot...
Thinking of changing a quad but struggling to gauge the value of the trade in before i speak to the dealer as nothing much similar advertised.
2010 yamaha 350, auto, 4wd, diff lock etc, good tyres, very tidy and fully maintained, nearly 7000 miles.
What do folk think it's worth?
Evening,
looking for a 3d printer to start learning with. Ideally something that’s reliable and relatively future proof. I don’t have any particular thing to make but looks like it may be useful. Could anyone with some experience recommen one and anything else to consider please
Second yamaha here and both have had exactly the same problems and is driving me nuts. Dealer just been out to sort not starting in gear problem for the umpteenth time. This morning broke another foot well, this will be the third on this bike and 3 on the last bike. It’s under warranty and the...
My 13 year old son has asked for a quad bike for Christmas. I'm not all that keen as I think it might just be a one-month wonder.
But putting that aside, any recommendations on size, make, what to pay for a junior one etc gratefully received. Any secondhand ones about?
Thanks.
Recently got a Yamaha Kodiak 450 eps 2019.
Wasn’t running great, serviced, new plug fresh fuel, still not running great, missing and not got full power.
Where next, any ideas?
