So, the bull was in a sale and the bidding "reached" £1.23 million? Or was it Rupees, bearing in mind that a Rupee is approximately one penny at the current exchange rate, and the owner decided not to sell it???
Yeah, right, I've been to sales like that.;) Publicity stunt for the bull , imo, and it's worked as it's got people talking about it on the other side of the world!:)

I'm not sure I understand his logic here! £360k/yr would take 3-4 years to make the £1.23mil and that would come with high risk.

Is it April 1st or something?

That's assuming the" bidder" had the money for him to accept. There are t's+c's at some auctions in this country that would've seen the vendor liable for the commission on the bid!!!
