£2,000 quad bike

Nope, it's a fixed tax issued for the car depending on its weight and emissions. Of course you could de-register it, but it'd make it very illegal to drive on road. 😅
Here it done via distance travelled by the odometer paid for in advance for road using diesel vehicles, rumour has it that some people "temporarily" disconnect the odometer for tax reduction purposes allegedly.
That said I normally drive a petrol 4WD which cost about NZ$370.00 per year for full insurance, registration and two safety inspections, you figger out the exchange rate.😁

The 250 honda and the ozark are both great quads. I have used both to big hours and the suzuki wins overall as better brakes and better swingarm bearings/rear propshaft setup. Both great on fuel and light to steer. Ozark will only be available used now I think. Maybe the honda too.

Are the honda 420 s any good with fuel injection
I’ve got a 420 and love it vs the 350 and 250 before it just always works has been extremely reliable engine wise and I don’t think it bad on fuel certainly no worse than the 350 if not better mines silver wheel model before they went to black

I was in my local Honda dealers the other day and all the Hondas had racks already rusting! That and the price have me repairing my old grey import 350! Don't the Chinese export anything good these days? The natives must use quads?

Edited to say, after all, they make Hondas!!! My 350 has a Chinese pot and cylinder, I imported and installed it myself! Cost me £150 including freight. Works fine.

They don't make them like this any more. Very tidy for what must be over 20 years old?

It’ll be from around 94-5,some twit nicked my dads a couple of years back so I look at every advert I see in case I recognise it,good bike but very stiff steering on them.

They aren’t a bad bike. Eat ball joints they like to burn out a voltage regulator which can end up with you needing a regulator, relay, battery, ecu and if you are really unlucky a fuel pump or any combination of these. Anywhere from £70 to £1200
Depends how many miles/hours you are doing with them and how rough the land is. Not a bad bike really.
