So my neighbour has finally admitted defeat on the quadzilla. He is looking to replace it . I’ve told him to stick to the main 4 . So what is best to aim for on his budget? I’m thinking a Honda foreman or perhaps a Suzuki ozark? Land is very flat horse fields. So 2wd is fine. Any good dealers you’d personally recommend too?

Honda FM350 will be available at that money in not too bad of a condition. If he gets one he will need to flush the oil cooler otherwise it could overheat. Not the best model a bit rigid on suspension and permanent four wheel drive not much in the way of electrics on the thing to cost money and reasonably cheap to repair

Front and rear air con believe it or not! Heater radio central locking diffs etc, and it was free just needed a new(secondhand) fuel pump stands me at around £200
Pajero? Cheap to buy here but if they run on diesel you're looking at ~1200€/year of "diesel tax".

I was looking for one to use as a family car, but when i noticed the tax it quickly put me off.
