£200/t wheat ...

You may well be right.
But, just take a look at episode 3 (Crisis) to see how we headed for a severe food shortage as all the World's underground aquifers are depleting/if not are already depleted.
Then take a look on the Mike Mitchel YouTube channel to see his harvest results.
Look at it from 7 mins 20 seconds.
Yields of 1-2 bushels an acre that he cannot sell because he and everybody else needs it all for seed to plant next year.
I'm not sure that the market has realised just how serious the situation is yet and I'm not selling any more grain yet, in the hope that it will.

I have a friend who is a trader and he thinks the Canadian and USA poor harvest is already factored in and we will see maybe a little bit more uplift but not much. Possibly £250 ex farm for group 1, but its already nearly £240 anyway so its not a massive amount more. We've sold 15% of harvest 21 at £232 to put a base in it but don't want to hold this year so will be selling the rest in 2 chunks around christmas.

Yes we will only be feeding wheat to achieve 3t/acre of group 1 and not worry about protein levels or a premium.

How much do people normally put on milling wheat these days. Havnt grown any group 1 since skyfall and that needed a ridiculous amount of N to even get near 13%

If fert already bought early no real need to cut back if you are still waiting to buy it looks like you have big problems the fert that is being made today with todays gas prices is only going to land in this country in December onwards . Cant see it dropping by much until gas drops back dramatically .

Generally 225kg/ha N will get group 1 and 3.5t/acre yield. However we can get 3t/acre and no protein with 150kg/ha N so that is what we are going to do.

Why will inflation fall if wages rise surely the opposite, and why will productivity rise if wages rise?
The best way to raise productivity is to get the feckers not working and costing society out working and contributing

Depends on the role of the higher paid staff but it implies higher productivity.

Yield of an 365/24/7 automated car wash compared to 3 men with buckets 9 to 5.

Some people are counter productive - George Useless for example,
