Exactly , some have never seen 400 quid in one go , first flight to Ibiza .
Should've given it to the pensioners , the poor ones , not Alan Sugar .
And a Steak for the Staffy....

I had you down as a pensioner... you could fix a knackered farm machine.... again;)

I do not deny that extreme poverty exists but the existence is very badly reported. A report on both local Norfolk news and National BBC interviewd a large overweight woman who was covered in tattoos saying that she had three children but no husband and had to choose between heat or food. She was loading up at food banks and praising their existence so it was obvious that she was not giving up anything. If the press wants to make a case I am sure they can without taking the p1ss. I also heard that the food bankies were being selective by taking only processed food because it required less cooking. That is because it has already been cooked, using vast amounts of energy that has already been paid for by those donating to the food banks.

1) Nobody dare tell the masses they can’t have anything they want despite global warming and the fact we are bankrupt.
2) it just keeps on stoking the inflationary spiral.

Not much hope now for gas prices to come back down, so will we also get cash towards buying fert?
Economic illiterates running the country.

It’s really annoyed me in the last few weeks how the BBC can’t seem to find a single person to interview about food prices who isn’t obese. Every single person interviewed look like they could do with spending less on food to start with. It’s almost like the BBC are taking the p1ss out of these people. It’s quite frightening really just how overweight the nation is becoming.
