30kW to heat office, workshop and farmhouse. I appreciate the RHI returns are good, but it sounds a big investment for what is basically a large pump and lots of pipework?
Any other costs people have paid and installers would be appreciated.

They are damned expensive bits of kit,. The additional tanks and the like all add up though as we know having had 2 replacement storage tanks (warranty job) If you can do the ground work yourself, it will save a lot.

I put in all the ground loops here to the manifold chamber, then from that across to the plant room. Lot of work, but better than paying Installers 40-50 quid an hour for a bloke and apprentice.

30kw output? How much of the bill is for tranporting heated water?
Mine was much less per kw but the heat plumbed in an air exchange box 2 yards from pump

£650 per kw for ground work, pipes, glycol, electric supply and pumps in a 20ft container

Total £900 per kw with air exchange unit that heats the poultry shed. Using the heat from gshp as well as recycling exhaust vent heat.

Solar panels to power the lot were extra,
