Pick up hitch bit has bent.

now can’t quite lift high enough to lock/unlock and click into place.

ive had it welded before

I’m looking to price up the part.. but don’t know what to call it.

There must be a reason causing that problem. My guess is that the twisted side has been doing all the lifting. Have you tried adjusting the telescopic lifting tubes for length? There could also be wear in the linkage crosshaft splines.

As above regards why its bent. Rods out of adjustment or operator error.

For pick up hitch frame- double check with dealer but i get

AL159293 @ £1233.00

Call your dealer and see if they have any complete pickup hitches that have been removed from export machines. Can usually pick a decent one up for a couple of hundred.

Just heat it up , bend back into shape and sort out the lift rod lengths..

As said, just warm it up and bend it back. Make sure the lift rods aren’t over straining also check it’s not worn under the hook as it sags down so the carriage is tight to the top but the hook isn’t high enough to take the weight off the pin.
