ask neilo
Fancy having a go ? I could come and watch !I started college in 1988. I would hope that varieties, and more importantly agronomy, has moved on since then.

last time i grew beans -it was the most profitable crop ever no spray got lucky. just rough sown and left to it -sold straight off field because they had some batch they were making just at that time.Thats my point, these compounders dangling the 'if you grow enough, we will use them' carrot yet we're already growing plenty of peas/beans already for them to start using them consistently, yet they're not
...but what have lupins got that beans don't?
We already grow '000's tons of beans but don't get used for animal feed
Sorry, i meant for the feed compounder, why are lupins better where there is already a source of homegrown proteinmore protien = higher price /t they fix a lot more N and also fix P and their is more choice re herbicide and later drill date give better spring grass weed options. I also think they seem more drought tolerant
other than than no advantage at all
