Can't disagree with that, David certainly knows far more about the feeding of lupins to livestock than we do.

We already grow '000's tons of beans but don't get used for animal feed

they will use them (beans)sometimes but it seems a bit random. beans are good stuff.

Thats my point, these compounders dangling the 'if you grow enough, we will use them' carrot yet we're already growing plenty of peas/beans already for them to start using them consistently, yet they're not

last time i grew beans -it was the most profitable crop ever no spray got lucky. just rough sown and left to it -sold straight off field because they had some batch they were making just at that time.

Better amino acid profile, higher bability of protein and no tannin issues
